Low Self Esteem Treatment
Low self-esteem can be a lifetime struggle and consequence of abuse, neglect, or trauma during childhood. If untreated, low self-esteem can contribute to depression, anxiety, relationship and substance use problems. Low self esteem can lead to a lack of ability to stand up for yourself resulting in a pattern of involvement in abusive relationships. Low self-esteem can lead to self-judgment, fear of failure, negative body image, social awkwardness, lack of confidence and feelings of self-hatred.
